"Immunization:
the health worker's guide", 2007 This
CDROM was produced as a pilot for the Lao
Ministry of Health and was funded by the
Asian Development Bank. It is a bi-lingual
resource (Lao and English) that covers
all parts of immunization practice in
Laos.

The 66
minute video demonstrates immunization
procedures and the quizzes test students'
knowledge of the subject before and after
watching the video. The WHO manual,
"Immunization in Practice, 2004"
is included on the CDROM in English and
Lao.
Demonstration workshops in December 2006
showed this resource to be appropriate,
useful and wanted by teachers and
students in Laos. Text and graphic
resources on the CDROM were provided by
UNICEF and WHO. |
