ITEM Media produces documentaries and educational films for television and for distribution to schools. Interactive CDROMs primarily for medical education in developing countries are produced under the banner of ITEM Interactive.

ITEM Media was founded in Sydney Australia in January 1999 by Gillian Guthrie and Robert Simms.

Gillian Guthrie: Producer/Director/Writer
	Gillian has more than 25 years experience in journalism and television production. She has written and produced four documentaries as well as programs ranging from SBS TV's World News in the '80s, The Investigators and Insight in the 90s and the inaugural and subsequent broadcasts of journalism's annual Walkley Awards.
